Biografía

Mexico City.Since his childhood Fernando Garrido showed a talent for drawing. In high school he begins to involve with the oil painting practice and with having his first exhibitions as well.Among his most important exhibitions are: Poliforum Cultural Siqueiros; National Bank of Mexico; Museo del Pueblo Gto., Diego Rivera Museum; "Goteburg Kunstmuseum" Museum of Gotenburg, Sweden; "Edsvik Kunsthall," at Sweden; "Witervicken Museum", Stockholm, Sweden; Museum of Art of Querétaro; Government Palace of Querétaro; Museum of the City of Querétaro; among others.In 2008, the Government of the State of Querétaro, through the Instituto Queretano de la Cultura y las Artes published the book "Fernando Garrido, Obras" a retrospective of its work, from its beginnings until 2007; This is also a part of the catalog "100 years of art in Querétaro".For his well-known trajectory he has served as judge in competitions of painting and drawing convened by diverse institutions. His artwork also has been part of more than one hundred altruistic auctions in Mexico, Central and South America, the United States and Europe.
