Froylán Ojeda was a Mexican painter known for his imaginative, dreamlike imagery and fantastical characters. He studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas between 1945 and 1948, later continuing his training at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional and at La Esmeralda. Ojeda also worked as an illustrator for newspapers and magazines, developing a visual language rich in narrative and symbolism. His paintings depict surreal spaces inhabited by enigmatic figures, blending elements of fantasy, symbolism, and dreamlike allegory. The mystical atmosphere of his work often evokes medieval imagery and the delicate sensibility of certain Renaissance painters. Over the course of his career he presented more than 25 solo exhibitions and was a member of the Salón de la Plástica Mexicana.
